Pressure Inlet: question about total pressure

I would be really glad if someone correct me if i'm wrong.

I analyse the flow in a convergent domain between a translational wall and a fixed one. I consider to have a pressure inlet and a pressure outlet where the static pressure is set to 0 Pa.
I don't know the mass flow rate at inlet and i only know the velocity at intersection between inlet surface and the walls because of no slip condition.

Using the Pressure Inlet, the problem doesn't disappear because user has to set total pressure.
If i set a too low total pressure, i'll have a low mass flow inlet so i can have underpressure in the domain.
If i set a too high total pressure, Fluent takes a part for the necessary mass flow and put the exceed as Static Pressure so i will have a not zero Static Pressure at Pressure inlet.

Am i right?
Have you advice to help me to find the right setting to have no starvation and zero static pressure at Pressure Inlet?

Thanks in advice
