Hello, I need some help in defining dynamic zones. My simulation consist of half cylinder with a nozzle in one end and piston surface on the other end of half cylinder. I would like to simulate some kind of needle, pushing piston inside cylinder and fluid leaving needle through nozzle. I have made 3 fluid zones, upper is defined as rigid body (include boundary layers close to piston) and wrote UDF with constant velocity, lower zone is stationary, but i have problem with middle zone.
I defined deforming motion, but when i preview mesh motion it does not deform. This middle zone is cylindrical shape and consist of boundary layers and tetrahedral elements in center. Do i need to write UDF for middle zone and what is easy way to connect this deforming zone with rigid body movement???

Thank you for helping

I have found out that only first cell in deforming zone is really deforming, others are fixed no matter which meshing option do i choose.

I someone have solution to this, please help

After I preview zone motion, error:" Mesh projection of deforming dynamic zones exceeds reasonable limits." shows up.
