hi i am working on the multiphase flow problem in fluent 14.5,in this case the molten metal has flow out through the crucible outlet,
the problem is like a water is flow out through bottle, i given velocity at inlet, gravity value in direction of flow my aim is to show flow in the respective directions, but every time i got the message like DIVERGENCE DETECTED IN AMG SOLVER-X MOMENTUM. and sometimes it's show error like YOUR GLOBAL COURANT NUMBER IS GRATER THAN 250. pls help me in solving my problem |

Hi,
Try different options: 1- use Hybrid initialization.. 2- if you are using Simple, reduce your under relaxation factors(momentum and pressure)... 3- make sure your mesh is fine(skewness value and minimum orthogonality) Let me know... Hooman |

1.)Reduce relaxation factors
2.)change correction factor to flexible from V-cycle etc 3.)If using using steady change to Transient |
