How to animate a line in cfd-post

So I ran a simulation which exported cdat files. In CFD-post I made a line to see the temperature profile along the axis. This works great, but I see no way to animate this line. It seems to only correspond to the currently opened contour.
Does anyone know how to animate a line like this? |

Nobody has ever needed to animate an x-y chart, for instance??
