Centrifugal pump

Hi,
I am working on Cavitation in Centrifugal pumps. I have experimental data for discharge(l/s) and Total head (m). First I am matching Head vs Discharge graph in steady state for single phase flow (water, with out cavitation).

My Boundary conditions used:
Inlet: Mass flow
Outlet: Pressure Outlet
RPM: 2000
But for above boundary conditions Head is not matching.

Another trail:
Inlet: Pressure Outlet
Outlet: Mass flow
RPM: 2000
But for above boundary also conditions Head is not matching.

I saw some publications on pumps. Most of the authors used above boundary conditions. I am new to this area.

Can you suggest me boundary conditions for getting Head Vs Discharge graph.

Any help will appreciate .:)

Thanks in Advance

Venkat

A you using the Sliding Mesh Model or one of the others?

i am using MRF (moving reference frame).

You can use mass flow inlet and static pressure outlet BCs but make sure that your calculation domain is extended enough at the pump inlet and outlet.
If this is not the case, the outlet BC can detoriate the pressure field and lead wrong inlet presuures.
