Hi friends,
I have installed Ansys 15.0 few days ago. When I run Fluent, after some iterations it constantly gives the message: "connection to the license server has been lost for ... minutes" (showing some time). Actually it works fine while constantly repeating this message until it stops after some time and showing this message: "Fluent will wait until license connection is restored". It automatically starts after some time but its very annoying. May be there is something wrong with license. Anyone who know how to get rid of this problem. Here I have attached a snap of this.
Thanks

No tricks here. Fluent lost the connection with your license server. You couldn't have started the simulation without a connection to the license server so try to figure out why the connection is being dropped.

Is your license machine the local machine or over the network? Are you running a wireless network? Even if the license is on your local machine, the license server process is a network task and may be executing over your wireless.

Anyway, without specific knowledge of the physical layout, it could be anything. Maybe the electricity went out. Who knows.

Another reason could be that your privileges to the license were revoked. That is, your network license server ran out of licenses and gave your license to a higher priority user and then actively began rejecting your attempt to retrieve the license.
