Hello everyone,

I am having trouble trying to use the non-thermal equilibrium model in porous zone dialogue box.
Initially, the zone type is fluid, after that, I turn the energy equation on and select non-equilibrium in the heat transfer settings in the porous zone. Then, fluent asks me: "The non-equilibrium thermal model requires a solid zone that is spatially coincident with fluid zone 26. Do you want to create such a solid zone?". After I click yes, several shadow zones appear in my model. Interior boundaries turn into walls and I cannot change those new boundaries to interior.
I prepared the mesh in Icem CFD. Is there something I was supposed to do during the meshing stage? or there is something I need to change in Fluent screen?

Thank you very much.
