I am simulating an explosion in deep water, in order to know how the pressure wave spread. Can someone give me some advice on it? What kind of function is the explosion pressure wave like to be? and who ever do the simulation of that? Can FLUENT do that? and if so, how to perform it in FLUENT and what details should be taken care of? if not, would you so kind enough to give me some information about that, such as who do that well, where I can find some program , and etc. Thanks!

my project is about internal combustion/explosion in closed space without inlet and outlet..
Can i simulate it with CFD fluent if no inlet and outlet??

can i use premixed combustion model??
if it can't use, what should i use??

Thanks

Hi Richard,

I know its been a long time after your post, but since I am doing the same problem, could you please let me know if you have solved it. I cant get convergence while I simulate shock propagation in water. what kind of solver did you use and how did you define the B.C's?

thanks everyone
