Monitoring convergence by pressure drop in fluent

Hi everybody,

How can monitor convergence by the pressure drop value in fluent? Actually how can define pressure drop value for monitoring and what is the criteria?

Thanks in advance for any help.

General comment: Using pressure drop solely isn't a good choice of convergence.
But let's say you know the exact value of pressure drop in your domain (from experiment maybe!). What you can do is defining two different planes (or 2 lines if you are modeling 2D) on the levels where the pressures are known. You can get the average values on those planes and then make a costume defined function to subtract the values. Finally plot the result against time.
cheers!

Could anyone explain to me, what is the formula in the custom defined function??

Is it P - P ?

Thanks!
