Hi,

I studied a paper about simulation of an turbine by using Fluent and I saw the following sentence and I don't have any information about that.

"All converged solutions had a mass imbalance of less than 0.3%"

In Fluent, how i can set above sentence?

I am grateful that guide me about this cases.

Thanks

This means that the mass of the fluid at the inlet subtracted to the mass of the fluid at the outlet differs for a 0.3% (absolute value).
This cannot be set, you can check the mass imbalance in the "report" tab.

Thanks.

Shouldn't absolute value of (inlet mass-outlet mass) be divided on mass of the fluid at the inlet until to be expressed as a percentage?
