Hi everybody,
I have a question. Is there any commercial CFD software that uses the EARSM model in turbulence modeling? I search it in Fluent, but I did not find any option about this model in viscous modeling part. Can anybody tell me some comments about it. Thanks for your Reply.I Can not find it in the TUI type.
I am using the Ansys Fluent 14.5. you can see the attachment file. There is not any ASM model there. |

If the command is given correctly, you shoul receive the following message:
The EASM model is now available in the interface. Try, maybe, from the GUI (i also have them from the TUI), under the k-eps and k-w models (there should be the additional EASM option). |

Thanks again.
I gave the command correctly, but there is not the EASM model in the list shown. Neither from the TUI nor from the GUI. Please see the attached file. I can enable the other models from TUI, but when I give the ke-easm command, the "invalid command [ke-easm]" is shown. Do you have any other suggestions? Thank you very much.
By the above way, the easm model was added to the viscous menu. Is there any other model that can be enabled by this way? such as non-linear k-e model? |

Two more options are:
1) (allow-v2f-model) 2) (allow-ke1e-model) Notice that i was only aware of the v2f option until, by looking at (modify according to the installation path and Fluent version): C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\v150\fluent\fluent15.0.0\src\turb.h line 40 circa, i found the enumeration for more turbulence models than usually available. Maybe you can figure out how to enable some others |
