DPM particles

i have a boiler and i want to simulate combustion. i choose non premixed model and i define the composition of my fuel. i calculate the pdf. also i activate the discrete phase model and i define an injection of carbon. i define the calculation of dpm every 10 iterations. i notice that when calculate dpm all the numbers are zero. tracked, escaped, incompleted, aborted trapped. does that means that the injection doesn't take place?

hi , if you are simulating the DPM ''Unsteady'' you should set the starting time and ending time for the injection.you can find them in injection parameters.

i have steady particle. should i try with unsteady?

HyperNova February 1, 2015 02:12

Yes , why not! try unsteady and set time for start and ending of injection,

another thing else, reduce number of dpm iteration
