Hello all...
I have setup a solution data auto-export to look at a few quantities such as x-velocity and y-velocity on a specific surface. I have also selected the x, y, and z coordinates because I need to know the location of the data points. When I do this, I get the following columns of data (written exactly as they appear in the data file): 1. cellnumber 2. xcoordinate 3. ycoordinate 4. zcoordinate 5. dexvelocity 6. tyyvelocity 7. tyxcoordinate 8. teycoordinate 9. tezcoordinate So columns 1-4 appear no matter what quantities I select. 7-9 are there because I have selected x, y, and z coordinates under quantities. (I am using ASCII cell centered for the export and the model is 3D with a structured hexa mesh) My problem is that the coordinate data does not match (ie the x coordinates are not the same in column 2 and 7...close but not exactly the same). Does anyone know which set of data I should be using to get the correct location of the cells? Thanks in advance!! -jacob |
