I use Workbench to run Fluent simulations.

Could anyone tell me how to delete Fluent output parameter?

As shown in the attached figure, the button 'delete' is not highlighted. It's useless to click on it. Then how do I delete the output parameters?

Why not ignore the parameter instead of deleting it? Perhaps the parameter is being used somewhere, so you must first disable/remove the parameter before deleting it.

I think and just check that those output parameters were not used anywhere. Are you able to delete output parameters? Did you try? Maybe that's because that Fluent file is in Workbench.

When you have tens of output parameters, you will really want to reduce the number of them by deleting the useless ones.

I've not used output parameters before but if there's a button for deleting these parameters, I suspect it's possible. Have a close read of the User's Guide because it specifically states "Delete input parameters which are not assigned to a setting". Again, check if this parameter is being used somewhere. The same issue arises with materials: if a material is used within a domain zone then you can't delete it.

I've had this same issue before, and didn't find a solution. One of many reasons I switched to making my output parameters in CFD-Post instead.

I had the same problem and this worked for me.

In Fluent on the top menu toolbar select User Defined->Parameters. Then select the parameter to delete ->More->Delete.
