I have a model of a valve in solidworks that is used at work.
The flow through the valve is choked. The valve is then required to fill up a vessel of a set size within a certain time period. The valve has two paths, one of which closes when a certain pressure is reached. I want to be able to put the model into fluent, run the analysis and predict the time taken to fill the vessel to 3.7 bar. The initial pressure is 7 bar and the 1st path closes at 0.7 bar. I have tried to run it as a transient analysis but this it doesn't complete the calculation. Any ideas? |
