Hello,

I'd like to monitor a point values (static temperature) on the cylinder wall. The cylinder is translated from the 0,0,0 point by known distance. Mesh is structural what means those cylinder walls are hexadecagons in cross-section - not perferct circle as in CAD/geometry files.

Here is my question. If I place monitor point at the basis of geometric coordinates, the point will be automatically 'moved' to the nearby node of the mesh, or somehow it will show the values from the wall?

Important to me is to create those point in Fluent, not in Geometry/Meshing Tools but these sugestions also would be helpfull. The geometry/mesh is quite complicated and selecting those point by 'mouse' is impossible.

Thanks you for help!
Jakub
