I have a simulation of complex chemical reactions and combustion taking place in a chamber and the resulting hot gases are passed over a set of tubes. Now, as my processing and memory power are limited I first modeled only the combustion chamber. Is there any way by which the data at this chamber's outlet can be exported directly to my next simulation of flow through tubes?
Any method through UDF is also ok for me. Thanks! |

It is possible to export the velocity, pressure, temperature, TKE and SDR/TDR fields from your solution at least.
File > Interpolate > Write data Then you can choose at which cell zones you want to export this information. For your new simulation it is just to: File > Interpolate > Read and Interpolate Choose your .ip file. |

I can only interpolate zone it seems. What I wanted to do was to map outlet of 1st simulation to the inlet of next simulation.
Anyways found the read and write profile, seems to be the way forward. |
