i am not able to see vorticity magnitude in fluent despite periodic changes in cd monitor and model is k-e model

If you "compute" instead of "display" the vorticity magnitude, does Fluent give a range of values? You may need to use a manual range because the bulk of the vorticity is generally significantly lower than the maximum vorticity (which would yield a mostly uniform contour plot). The Q criterion and lambda-2 are better quantities to visualise turbulence.
