How Fluent compute mass flux on faces? Problem with understanding of convective term -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Harry321 Member Join Date: Dec 2014 Posts: 38 Rep Power: 11	Dear colleagues, A part for the discretized convective term in transport equation looks like this: $\sum^{n_faces}_{f}\rho_{f}\stackrel{\rightarrow}{v}_{f}\phi_{f}\bullet A_{f}$ I understand that values are computed for cell centers, but for convection I need face values. To get values for $\phi_{f}$ I can choose between various differencing schemes (for example for UDS0 in Solution Methods I can choose First Order Upwind), but how Fluent computes face values for mass fluxes $\rho_{f}\stackrel{\rightarrow}{v}_{f}\bullet A_{f}$ ?
