hi everyone
i simulated the hot flow that inters the pipe and i insulated the system. i want to now the temprature of insulation outer surface(wall with convection to the ambient) but i dont know which one is real??! total or static?? i investigated the references that termocouple calculate the total temprature..these two parameters(total & static temprature) are different in solid volume that i'm surprised. is this logical?? static and total tempratures of flow have a little difference with each other but in solid volume this difference is significant.
thank for any help & response..
