DPM and Forces in rotating reference frame

Does anybody knows how Fluent calculates the "Forces in Rotating Reference Frames" on discrete particles (DPM) for a 2D axis symmetric grid? Somehow I do obtain the same trajectory for small particles (<1 micron) and for those with very low density (density relative to water <1). I guess there is something wrong by the calculation of the Coriolis force. Is Fluent able to calculate it a for 2D axis symmetric model with rotation?

I believe you need to turn on "Axisymmetric Swirl" in Define>Models>Solver

I have sort of the same problem. My fluid is calculated properly in 2d axisymmetric turbulent flow, but my massless dpm particles (with random walk) tend to spread out like they are in a flow between two walls instead of in a axisymmetric flow. I like to turn on the rotating reference frame force, but it is not present in the Discrete Phase Model panel. Any suggestions?
