gas-solid reaction Fluent

Hi everybody
I wanna simulate a gas-solid heterogeneous reaction in Ansys Fluent. My aim ist to simulate a gas flow through porous media where a chemical reaction takes place. It´s a chemical transformation by gas-Phase infiltration.
The reaction is : SiO(g) +2C(s)àSiC (s) +CO(g). The gas phase coming through the inlet is SiO and I get the 2C from a solid porous component. I´m totally new in doing chemical reactions so I have some questions, please help :

-What is my site species? Is it C from the porous substrate? Is the deposition of SiC my solid species?

-Which information about the species do I have to enter in Fluent (enthalpy?...)

-When do I need a UDF for the reaction rates?

-Is it even possible to simulate the creation of a solid and a gas as products?

Thanks in advance.
Please contact me for further information or if you can share or want to share your experience with me.
Greetings from Germany. :)

Did you get the UDF?
