Hi
I'm trying to model vegetation (tree crowns) as 3D porous media by employing Fluent. I have some queries, hope someone can help me out. In fact I added 3 source terms (one in the governing momentum, the others in K and e). To validate the UDF, I get data from my similar work. now Its my question: Is there any relationship between pressure drop and pressure loss coefficient? (It mentioned just pressure loss coefficient) I do not know how to get these two parameters: Viscous resistance coefficients and Inertial resistance? Thanks. |

I mean what should I fill the two parameters in porous media tab based on pressure loss coefficient. Its unit is (1/m). |

Hi every body
I don't know how determine initial velocity for the flow in porous media. Thank you for time and consideration. Best regards |
