Questions when applying sliding meshes
 
Hi everyone,
I am trying to do a simulation on a rotating wind turbine.
I made up a cylinder to realize the rotating of the rotor, using sliding mesh method.
But after I define the interfaces for the boundary. Zero-area walls come out as boundaries of the interface. The "walls" doesn't appear when displaying the mesh. But the results do show their influences.
Is there a method to change the wall to interior?
Or is there any other method to fix this?

That walls should be generated if you create an interface (interface 1) from surface 1 and surface 2 and they do not overlap 100%.
If you create 2 perfectly overlapping surfaces you can see the "walls" in boundary condition panel but they don't influence your simulation.
Try to plot that surfaces: if something is displayed then go back to pre-processing and create perfectly overlapping surfaces for your interfaces.

Thanks for your reply.
The two interfaces do fully overlap with each other, and the walls appearing in the boundary list could not be observed in the mesh display.
The generated zero-area wall seems like a "wall line". As when I view the velocity at that exact line position, the velocity is zero.
