Hi,

I am simulating a turbine and I had explained this model and boundary conditions in the following link:

This turbine have 6 blades((360/6)=60 deg=angle between blades). Due to the circumferential symmetry, only one sixth of the annulus has been computed, imposing periodic boundary conditions in the tangential direction. The computational domain has been restricted in the axial direction to four chord lengths upstream and six chord lengths downstream of the blade.

So, I had created periodic condition in Gambit, But when I watched the following video, I think that I should create two Interface.

However, I made two wall in circumferential sides of the domain by using Gambit. Then, I defined these two walls to interface in fluent. But when I want to initialize in The Solution Initialization panel, I face the following error:





Why does this happen?

Dear friends,

I clicked the following options:

Define>grid interfaces..

according the following figure, I done these works:




But when I click option of List in above figure, the following sentence is appeared:

*intersection zones are not created until initialization*

Why?
