Hi to all.
In Fluent-Results there is reported the total net force with a positive value, while from my calculations that one should be negative wrt my reference system.
Does this report calculate the force as an action of the fluid on the wall or as a reaction of the wall on the fluid.
Thks a lot.
Regards.

It depends on how you set the force vector; for example, for a 2d case, if you set the force vector to x=1, y=0, and you obtain a positive value then you have a positive force acting in +x direction; if you obtain a negative value then you have a negative force acting in +x direction, or in other words, a positive force acting in -x direction.
