Hi I am doing a steady state DPM. It is injection of water into a cross flow through a pipe. I used plain orifice atomizer. No of particle streams =60. After 2000 iterations, the average no of parcels escaping the domain was 60. So I thought it would have achieved steady state.( No other methods worked eg-: Volume and Surface monitors for Mass weighted average of DPM source, etc). Now after this the summary of the solution shows that No of particles=900 but no of parcels=3304. Why is it like this? What is the proper way to do this?
