I have challenges extracting the Average Nusselt Number directly from the simulation by Fluent. The local heat transfer coefficient of the wall is available directly from the simulation and I require directly from the simulation also the Average Nusselt Number.

You can compute it from Reports>Surface Integral or you can make a surface monitor.

As LuckyTran said, you can get t by the surface integral. Do not forget to adjust the reference values (properties, length, etc.) for your case, because they are used to compute the mean and local Nusselt number.

Thanks. It does work. How do I make a surface monitor though?

How do I adjust the reference values? I thought the surface integral and selection of the name section takes care of that.
