Hi all,
I am calculating a flow along a catalytic active wall coupled with surface reaction. And actually i am looking for a way to calculate mass transfer coefficient of spiecies to the wall. For expamle for heat transfer coefficient there is a build-in function in fluent, for mass transfer not. I can compute the mass transfer coefficient by use of following equation: n = \beta * A * (c(in) - c(surf)) n - mole flux to the wall \beta - mass transfer coefficient c(in) - inlet concentration c(surf) - surface concentration For that purpose i need mole flux to the wall but i do not know how to get it in Fluent. Has someone any idea? I would be glad for any help! Cheers Artur |

consider using mass transfer model in similar lines the existing heat transfer model.
replace Prandtl number with Schmidt number. replace Nusselt number with Sherwood number. |
