Default Area-Averaged Heat flux or integral heat flux

I have a finned surface in fluent.

Should I use area-avearge or integral heat flux in FLUENT (report) to make comparisons?

The area-averaged gives you an average over the surface. The integral of the heat flux gives you the total heat transferred. Which do you want to compare?
