Hi, i am simulating airflow in human nasal cavity in extreme climate. however, the relative humidity exceeds 100%.
It would be so helpful if anyone can check my boundary condition, and give me advice on how to tackle this problem.
my boundary condition is as below;

wall,
temperature 307.15k
water mass fraction 0.0344 (temperature 34c, humidity 100%) based on psychromatic chart.

ambient temperature,
pressure outlet
pressure 0 gauge
temperature 278.15
water mass fraction 0.003752 (temperature 5c, humidity 70%) based on psychromatic chart.

inlet (nasopharynx),
velocity inlet
velocity -1.25
temperature 307.15
water mass fraction 0.0344

actually, based on the previous thread, ive also tried to ignore the boundary condition at the inlet (temperature 0, water mass fraction 0), however, the same problem still occurred (relative humidity exceed 100%).

Hi,

i'm simulating airflow within the human nasal cavity in extreme climate. I've used species transport, and defined water mass fraction (using Phsycrometric chart) at the wall and outlet (ambient air). However, when i checked the contour (Relative humidity>compute) the maximum RH value within the nasal cavity exceeds 100%.

I've tried so many ways to encounter this problem, unfortunately still couldn't solve it. It is much appreciated if anyone could help me with this.

Best regards.
