Hi! why I cant see the boundary condition correctly in ansys fluent. I made boundary conditions contains : wall, inlet and symmetry in gambit. but I just have wall and interior default in ansys boundary conditions zone box . I cant see the inlet or symmetry for example. why ?

This is a gambit issue and not a Fluent issue. It also happens for many other softwares as well. The problem is that the meshing utility doesn't properly setup the .msh file correctly. Behavior is also wildly different for 2D vs. 3D.
If you can at least confirm that all your boundaries are present, it's best to just re-name them in Fluent and not bother with trying to define/declare them in the meshing utility. A frequent problem is that a boundary surface (which is a wall/surface basically) gets imported into Fluent as an interior (a volume), and that is probably the most annoying issue to run into. |
