question about modeling and setting up boundary between volumes

Hi,

I am simulating a turbine and I have doubt about modeling this turbine whether I am right or not.

In this turbine, there are three volumes.

The two volumes are the piping before and after the blade and the other volume contains the turbine blades. The domain containing the blades rotates at 2000 rpm=209.43 rad/s while the other two volumes are stationary.

I modeled this turbine in Gambit. and also I
split a large volume to create three mentioned volumes. that is,There is same boundary face between volumes and I didn't created the three volumes separately.

In this case, Is there any problems? Am i right? Because Gambit is weak for modeling this stage. What is your opinion?

In this work, the mesh node locations are identical at the boundary where the two zones meet.

I am grateful that guide me.

thanks.

Best.

Aja

What is the exact meaning of "connected" option." in the following sentences?

"If you split a large volume to create two volumes, then you might have forgotten to turn on the "connected" option."
