NOx calculations slow to converge - faster method?

Exclamation NOx calculations slow to converge - faster method?

Hello, I have been performing this simulation on a combustor for a while now and I noticed that after 8000 iterations I have the convergence for all the quantities but the NOx, which I predicted (knowing their order of magnitude and the calculation speed) would converge after approx, 400000 iterations, also according to a previous work which had the same amount of iterations, give or take.
Since this would take entire months, is there a faster way, even less accurate, to calculate the NOx?
(PS. I have deactivated all the other equations after their convergence in order to make calculation faster, but even with that, you can see from the above predictions that is too slow )

I am running a pretty standard simulation, k-e model, species model with liquid fuel and cone atomizer, transient (need to wait 8000 iterations for convergence to be reached).
