Hai all,

I am modelling air bubbles in a water tank. The air is injected from a small orifice at the base of the tank. An unsteady simulation is done in Fluent using VOF method. The orifice size is 10 mm and the water head is 0.25 m. When simulation is being done, the air phase is getting attached to the base and growing to a size of about 30 mm before it detaches and starts rising in the liquid. That a big bubble for such a small hole is not possible. Can any one suggest me how to tackle this issue.
