Hi,
I am working on analysis of a rotating 2D domain. Initially I have water in the bottom part of the domain and air fills the rest. The purpose of my study is to estimate the rimming speed in a rotating cylinder dryer. There is no inlet and outlet in the domain. The volume fraction plots of phase 2 (liquid water) are shown in figure attached. Question: The water content in the domain rises as the cylinder is given rotations. Practically, this is impossible. Any suggestions to overcome this flaw!! [IMG][/IMG] P.S.: Rimming speed is the speed of the dryer when the liquid water forms a rims on the inner circumference of the cylinder.
