ahammack New Member Allen Hammack Join Date: Sep 2009 Posts: 7 Rep Power: 16	I'm trying to improve how I initialize my Fluent open channel flow simulation. The Fluent manual recommends a process of initialization, and I'm having trouble with Step 2: Patch the domain using a volume fraction value of the secondary phase to 1, up to the Free Surface Level specified at the inlet. I've never used a patch. My inlet free-surface level of the secondary phase at my inlet is 5.4. Could someone please show me the steps for completing the volume fraction patching for my initialization? Thanks, Allen
