Problem periodic boundary

Hi
I would like to perform a 3D simulation in fluent V12.1 with periodic boundaries.
When I open “Boundary condition”, the icon “Periodic Conditions” is grey and I cannot open it.
I’ve tried different geometries and different meshes but I still have this problem.
Does anyone have an idea how to solve my problem?

you have to define it either in meshing software or use following command in fluent:

Define > bc > mz > mp
