Is it true that if you have a non symmetrical airfoil in 2D and then if it is needed to simulate it at angle of attack of say 5 degrees you can do this either by turning the airfoil 5 deg clockwise and leaving flow with coordinates of 1,0 (x,y) or you could leave the airfoil as it is and turn the flow by changing the flow coordinates of 0.99619,0.087156 which corresponds to 5 degrees as well ? I know that we can do the angle of attack simulations by changing flow direction and not airfoil BUT does the y component need a positive or negative direction with the same magnitude ?? What happens if its positive and what happens if its negative ?
