Hello experts.
I want to see vorticity in ansys-fluent-post processing, but when I want to define vorticity or curl of velocity as a variable in results,I dont have them because I just have ''gradient'' in my variable defintion. maybe I should create vorticity in fluent setup. please help me, How to define vorticity in fluent( setup or post processing) and where to define vorticity؟ |

If you want to postprocess in Fluent, it is very easy:
-> Graphics and animations -> Contours -> Contours of: velocity -> X-Vorticity (or Y-vorticity or Z-vorticity) If you want to do in CFD-post, you have to save the vorticity in Fluent: -> File -> Data file quantities -> Additional quantities -> X-vorticity, Y-vorticity and Z-vorticity Good luck! |
