Dear all,

I am running a transient simulation and I was wondering if it is possible to plot the history of residuals with respect to flow time rather than number of iterations. I have searched the internet but I was not really successful.

Thank you in advance,

G.

Is it really something not doable in the graphical interface?

It is doable. It will plot the final residual values at the end of the time-step if you click the right buttons to setup the residuals monitors.

Dear LuckyTran,

thank you very much for your reply. May I ask which right buttons you are referring to? Because I have also read the Ansys documentation and I did not find anything related to change the x-axis for the residuals according to flow-time (which on the contrary, it is possible for surface monitors).

I would appreciate a lot again your help.

Ugh! No you are right. I used to create monitors and plot them at end of time-steps. You can actually create monitors of unscaled residuals.

What do you mean with unscaled residuals?
