Hello,

I want to plot velocity along a line which is straight but with varying x and y coordinates. The z is constant. Please see the attached figure. For this I am unable to get how to get some constant length which entertains both x and y.

Regards,

Ok I sorted out, I made a custom field function and defined an r = sqrt(x*x+y*y) but the problem still persist, I can't get shear stress on wall which is at maximum r and the velocity is also not getting right.

What is the problem? Just be aware that Fluent will have to interpolate the cell values onto your line probe. Getting wall shear stress also involves some interpolation/extrapolation.
