Oscillating flow in pipe

I am trying to model a tube for which the boundaries have prescribed oscillating pressure variations as well as mass flow rates. My working fluid is Helium.

My goal is to understand the flow patterns that develop with the tube due to these conditions.

Can Fluent model this?

Re: Oscillating flow in pipe

yes, it is possible, but with fluent 5 it is necessary to use UDF to model time dependent boundary conditions. In Fluent-4 those boundary conditions are already built in.
