Graphics setting

Can anyone tell me how to change the graphic setting for the background to white on the velocity vector display. It make the vector arrows hard to see when printed out.

when you do hardcopy, there is an option which you can reverse the back/fore-ground colors to make the background white and save it in an image format you want...

What works best for hardcopy when Fluent is on a UNIX machine and you are accessing it via a PC? I have not had much luck yet. I don't have access to a postscript printer.

Cindy, one option for running Fluent 5 on a UNIX machine when you are sitting in front of a windows PC is to use the remote execution ability of fluent to run the interface process locally on the PC and then use the File|Run... panel to start the solver on the UNIX box. The advantages are 1) you get the native Windows interface and integration (including printing support), 2) you don't need to run an X server on your PC (fewer processes and memory usage on the pc, less network load and better graphics performance), and 3) you offload some of the resource usage from the UNIX box, allowing it to just run the solver. I used a rastered tiff image, the postscript from hardcopy can't be import to office softwares for print/viewing, though PS has better quality...

I've tried a rastor tiff image also. Perhaps I don't have the size correct. All I get with that is an extremely small box with apparently nothing in it.
