Hi! everyone. I have some question in gambit Is boundary layer form(growth factor, depth....) affects greatly to solution? If it affects to solution, how can I make boundary layer on subsonic airfoil(depth=? growth factor=?....) Any rule is in it? Please response. thank you.

The boundary layer as the tendency to forget the initial conditions if you march far enough down the plate or the airfoil. So you can initialize your profil with some approximate value for the shape factor, for example, and it shouldn't change the solution after you march enough downstream of the airfoil!
