Drag Factors

dear All, I am using Fluent 5 to model flow around simple vehicle geometries as a final year degree project. Analysis of forces from Fluent gives me drag factors that are around 40% higher than experimental values. Does anyone know if this is about the best limit for Fluent, or can the results be further improved. I have refined my mesh many times, and used many differant turbulent models, to good effect so far but cannot get the value down anymore. Suggestions on how i may proceed or general comments are much appreciated. Thanks, Nas.

Re: Drag Factors

Are you sure you are using the right reference values. For calculatiing the "drag coefficients " make sure fluent is using the right numbers.

Use "report -> reference values" to check them.
