oscillating

I am trying to model two cases 1)oscillating flow ( 2-D rectangular duct and in one side the inlet and other sid ethe outlet while in the middle there are a body)

2) wave flow like with the same geometery above

Hi Mohd

Fluent 4.5 (structured grid Solver) supports harmonic (Fourier)/piecewise inflows BC, which can be a function of either space or time. Obviously for time, you need to model the flow as an unsteady phenomenon.

This should be relatively easy to setup check the user manuals
