Phase change modelling

Hey all;

I am new user of Fluent and I need some tips about Fluent.

I had to model a phase change in a cylinder pipe. External wall of the pipe is heated with a constant temperature. In a first time the phase change is solid to gas, and in a second time is solid to liquid +gas.

I am interested to see the evolution of fusion front and the distribution of pressure in the annulus gap between the wall and the moving fusion front.

I look for any reply. Thank you.

Re: Phase change modelling

You can only modell a solid-liquid phase change if you describe all phases in an eulerian frame of reference.
