neutral file

Hey all,

How can I convert neutral file (".neu") without open tfilter to be read with fluent 5.3?

Thank you in advance.

I am not sure I understand the question, but if you have a gambit, fidap, or patran neutral file (which are all different but commonly have the .neu suffix) you can either use the File|Import menu in fluent (which invokes tfilter) or you can run tfilter by hand from the command line.

If you don't want to run tfilter (why not?), I suppose you could write your own conversion program. Seems like a fairly masochistic approach, though.

Thank you for your help. If I understand right, I can launch tfilter directly with fluent.

I tried with command line but my PC is quiet slow and unstable thatwhile I searched an other way.
