Hi all

I have a query and I am wondering if anyone can help me. I have 22 guidevanes, i.e stator, 30 Impulse blades, i.e Rotor and 22 guidevanes i.e. Stator.

I am trying to model the fluid domain using Fluent 5, am woundering if the number of cyclic repeats have to be identical for both stator and rotor?.

Please advise

Thanks Yusef

In Fluent 5 you can use the mixing plane, where the number of blades for the rotor and for the stator is not equal, see Tutorial Guide 3, Task 16. Best Regards Pavel
